A quick exercise of art therapy that I definitely want to repeat and spend more time exploring. Still, this really basic painting and its process made me think.
In the exercise, before the painting, you are asked to lay down and breath deeply. In doing so, you try to imagine the path the air takes when it enters your body, where it goes and if it has some color. Then, if you want you can explore it a bit more.
So, I saw the air coming in, pure and green, flowing through my body, connecting me to the nature, to the earth. As my body gets in touch with nature, there's a warming energy, right outside my body, coming out from my skin. Then, when the air comes out, it comes out as love, to be spread around the world.
It was a relaxing exercise, that refreshed my energies.
Art is not only about beauty and aesthetic. It's about feelings too. The feeling you put in what you do, the feeling people feel when they look at it.
